History
PA 211 East is a program of United Way of Lancaster County which has long history of providing information and referral to its residents since it took over the Lancaster Information Center (LINC) back in 1989. People could reach United Way LINC by dialing 717-291-5462(LINC) until the Fall of 2011, when we introduced the simplified 2-1-1 number. The original 10-digit dialing code for LINC still routes to our Resources Navigators 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Lancaster County residents can connect to resources including (but not limited to): Utilities, Employment, Education, Child Care, Rental Assistance and more. In addition, 211 is a contracted screening partner for the Lancaster County Office for the Coalition for those experiencing homelessness.
